A South American country with stunning nature. Ecuador is home to the world-famous Galapagos Islands, but also has a lot to offer on the mainland including the Quilatoa Loop and Cotopaxi Volcano. Unfortunately, safety is a problem here, but the Galapagos do at least dodge the violence that has plagued the mainland in recent years.
